The First Karinding Album in the World

BANDUNG - Gerbang Kerajaan Serigala titled album, which was launched at Gedung Theater Terutup Dago Teahouse Bandung, on Tuesday (3/13/20120), became the first album in the world that carries Karinding as the main instrument by wrapping heavy metal music. Karinding is an instrument that is familiar to the ancient people of West Java.

The launch of the band's debut album Karinding Attack it also marked the Third Anniversary since its establishment March 12, 2009.

Appear more than 1.5 hours, Karinding Attach bring all the songs in their debut album. Some of them are Ngora Nu Nu Nyekel Kontrol, Bagong Dadangos, Kehed Referee, as well as their flagship  song, Gerbang Kerajaan Serigala.

" Song Gerbang Kerajaan Serigala puts us at the gate, watching the wolves fighting over powe and seats," said Man Jasad, which has the full name of Muhammad Rohman.

Supporting artists are also featured in this inaugural concert, the Trie Utami and Risa Saraswati.

With the shrinkage of interest, the personnel Karinding Attack intend repacking the instrument in order to remain contemporary and can be collaborated with other genres.

About Karinding

Karinding is a traditional musical instrument from West Java, Indonesia. It is usually made from bamboo and midribs of palm trees. Karinding made of palm tree midribs are traditionally used by male players, and bamboo instruments are used by female players.Initially Karinding used by the ancestor to repel pests in rice fields, because the low decible sound from karinding can disrupt the insect hearing.

How To Play Karinding??
